What I Actually Own + Love: My Mother’s Day Gift Guide

I’m just going to say it… I don’t want another random last-minute Mother’s Day gift 😅

At this point, I know what I like, what I’ll use, and what will just sit there collecting dust. So this year, I put together a list of things I actually own and love — or would genuinely recommend without thinking twice.

These are pieces that feel a little elevated, a little thoughtful, but still make everyday life better.

If you’re a mom, send this to your husband 👀
If you’re shopping… this is a safe list 🤍

Gifts I would die to receive but thankfully already own

These are the things that instantly make your everyday feel a little more put together.

  • I’ve been using the Instafacial Collection Duo and I’m not even exaggerating… it’s one of those products where you actually see a difference.
Yes, it’s a splurge — but it replaces multiple steps in your routine and just works. My skin looks smoother, more even and overall healthier when I stay consistent with it.
This is one of those “worth it” investments.

  • The Oleada Marina Tote is my everyday bag right now. It’s structured, lightweight and fits everything without looking oversized.
It instantly pulls an outfit together, even on days when I’m running around. See how I styled it here.

These are the gifts that feel like a treat but you’ll actually use daily.

For the Mom Who Just Wants 5 Minutes Alone

Honestly… this might be the real gift.

  • The Hatch Restore has completely changed how I wind down at night. It helps me unplug (which is not easy) and create a routine that doesn’t involve scrolling my phone.
I didn’t realize how much I needed this until I had it.

  • This Pima Cotton Pajama Short Set is one of my favorite little luxuries. It’s soft, breathable and just makes nights feel a little more elevated.
One of those small upgrades that actually makes a difference.

Anything that gives mom a moment to herself = always a win.

Actually Useful (But Still Cute)

My favorite category… because these are the things you end up loving the most.

It’s practical… but still feels special.

Splurge-Worthy (Send This to Your Husband)

If you’re going to hint at anything… let it be something you’ll actually love long-term.

  • The Oleada Marina Tote deserves a second mention because it’s genuinely that good.
It’s one of those pieces that makes everyday life feel more put together — whether you’re running errands or heading out for the day.

Think of this as your “just in case he asks” section.

What I Really Want

Honestly?

A slow morning. Coffee while it’s still hot.
Something thoughtful.

And maybe… one gift I didn’t have to order myself

But if it comes from this list, I already know I’ll love it.

Little Extras That Just Make Sense (All Under $30)

These are the things you add on… and somehow end up using every single day.

  • silk pillowcase — better for your hair, better for your skin, and one of the easiest upgrades you can make.

  • Shower steamers — I didn’t expect much from these, but they actually make your shower feel like a mini spa moment.

  • chic jewelry organizer (travel or vanity) — keeps everything in one place and just looks good sitting out.

  • neutral aesthetic tumbler — the kind you keep refilling all day without thinking about it.

💡 These are perfect if you want to add “one more thing”… and they make the whole gift feel more complete.

A New York Minute

IMG_5983

There’s something about New York that never changes… even when everything else does.

Yesterday, I found myself running from meetings to press previews, hopping in and out of cabs, checking the time, fixing my hair in reflections of storefront windows—and for a second, it felt like 2011 all over again.

Back when I had just started my blog.

Back when no one really got what this world was.

Back when every meeting felt like a door opening, every brand conversation felt surreal, and the city itself felt like it was rooting for me.

And yesterday? It hit me in a New York minute.

That same rush.

That same excitement.

That same feeling of “wow, I really get to do this.”

So much has changed… but that feeling never left. And I hope it never does.

NYC Easter Brunch Guide: Celebrate Easter at The Pierre, A Taj Hotel

Celebrate Easter in Style at The Pierre’s Elegant Spring Brunch

If you’re looking for a truly special way to celebrate Easter in New York City this year, one of the city’s most iconic hotels is hosting an experience that feels as elegant as it is festive.

On April 5, 2026, The Pierre, A Taj Hotel will welcome guests for an unforgettable Easter brunch celebration set inside two of its most beautiful spaces: the stunning Rotunda—known for its hand-painted murals—and the chic dining room at Perrine. With live music filling the room and views just steps from Central Park, it promises to be a truly magical way to spend the holiday.

A Grand Easter Feast

Executive Chef Vincenzo Garofalo has created an expansive buffet designed to feel like a luxurious holiday gathering with a Mediterranean twist.

Guests can begin their culinary journey at the Tuscan Station, featuring beautifully curated antipasti, seasonal salads, and premium cured meats and cheeses. For seafood lovers, a Smoked Salmon Station offers New York bagels paired with classic accompaniments.

The brunch also includes several interactive live stations, where chefs prepare made-to-order omelets, fluffy pancakes, and artisanal French toast right in front of guests. A traditional carving station will feature expertly prepared meats alongside savory favorites like honey-glazed ham, crispy bacon, and herb-roasted breakfast potatoes.

Families are also thoughtfully included with a dedicated kids’ station serving elevated versions of childhood favorites, making it a celebration everyone can enjoy.

A Sweet Finale

Of course, no holiday brunch would be complete without dessert—and this one truly delivers. Guests will finish the experience with a stunning dessert display featuring festive Easter eggs, signature tiramisu, classic tart tatin, and delicate mini cannoli.

A Classic New York Easter Tradition

“Easter at The Pierre is a cherished tradition,” says Chef Garofalo. Inspired by the warmth of an Italian feast and the timeless charm of a New York brunch, every detail of the experience—from the live jazz to the elegant setting—has been thoughtfully designed to create a memorable holiday celebration.
