Happy Thursday guys! I'm happy to share a special time of our daily lives, bedtime.
After drinking hot chocolate and brushing their teeth my girls head to bed. No, not their beds. Instead they tuck themselves-in for reading time in my bed. This is certainly their favorite parts of each day.
We read one or two books together (with lots of laughter in between) and when the book ends we use our imaginations to become our own storytellers. This helps their imagination expand while giving us the opportunity to have mommy-daughter time. This is such an important part of a child's life. Make this a habit :)
The girls are wearing Hatley pj's which are their current favorites. They came in sets (top and bottom) and you can find them here. The material is super comfortable for the hot summer days approaching as well as great for relaxing in the house.
Little Boogaweezin is definitely one of my favorite websites to buy great quality tee-shirts for women and kids. As you have probably seen me and my girls wear them over the years here, here, here and here. All the tops have the cutest messages written on them and there's many to pick from. This one (here) says 'Still Got It' and as a mom, I love it! Funny enough, this is the reason why I started blogging. I simply wanted to share my style, connect with women and show them that just because you're a mom, you can still look good without taking too much time out of your mommy duties. So this tee says it all.
Now on to the shoes, which many of you have been asking about on my Instagram and Facebook. I purchased them two weeks ago in Express (here they are) for $80. They are super cute and I love the fact that I can wear them with literally everything.

I've always stayed away from wearing tanks because I never felt comfortable in them nor did I find one that fit my personal style, until now. ThisYoung & Reckless tank is the perfect summery color, very comfortable and it's great for dressing up and down. I wanted to pair it with a high waisted skirt and add another pop of color with my Jimmy Choo's. I hope you had a great weekend.

Last weekend my family and I drove up to Great Barrington, Massachusetts and passed Connecticut. My family and I do this often but I have never documented this experience. We have driven to Washington DC just to eat Nando's (which is the only restaurant in USA), drove to Philadelphia just to have Pat and Geno's cheesesteak (and yes, we had both), drove to Canada three years ago with my in-laws and stayed in Toronto for a few days touring and having lots-and-lots of curry, visited the CN Tower then visited Niagara Falls. I guess you can say, "Where theres food, there's Johnny". I mean this is what life's about, exploring. There's something about taking a long trip that makes you feel refreshed and brand new. I'm hoping we can man-up the long drive and visit Texas next. I hear they have the best BBQ {I love bbq!!}
Summer is pretty much here and the sun is getting hotter than ever. This means it is more difficult to wear heavy makeup and layers and layers of it. The weather in NY at the moment is simply horrendous. Grey skies, humid and rainy. All I am currently thinking about is a getaway. Today I'm bringing you back to my trip to the Dominican Republic wearing a beautiful silky smooth dress by Christina Karin.

My family and I love visiting Hampton Bays beach. We fall more in love every time we visit. It's the perfect place to just relax. After going to the beach we had to do a little shopping around East Hampton. I visited my friends at Gigi New York and C Wonder while the kiddos enjoyed ice cream with daddy.

I love trying new things and new styles. Recently I have been getting a lot of requests for outfits to wear to proms, wedding and other special occasion. You asked for a look that wasn't boring, that made you standout and wasn't traditional. This is what I got.
