Happy Monday Trenders!
Here's a little inspiration to start off your week.

The title to me is intriguing, 5:01, Work attire with a happy hour twist.

You guys have seen me wear these pants before. They're from H&M, they were meant for my husband but ended up fitting me. I bought this blazer in H&M as well a few months ago and it's one of those pieces that never get old.

The outfit to me screamed out too safe so I decided to give it some leopard love with a thrifted scraf worn as a belt.

Watch: Michael Kors
Top: Express   Blazer: H&M   Necklace: Vintage

Shoes: Tory Burch

Hope you enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed shooting it.

Happy Saturday Trenders!!

Quote of the day
"Confidence takes time to build"

I'm so happy everyday I take a step forward with achieving my dreams.
Not waiting for things to come to you is something I've learned these past few months. I'm truly blessed with all the amazing things that's been happening to me & for that I thank my wonderful and extremely supportive followers. Yesterday's ootd was inspired by the first day of Autumn which is today. This weather is very much like me, diverse. I feel like that's what sets me apart from every other mom, style or food blogger.  I now notice that not every person that follows me is a mom or a woman, that's pretty cool if you ask me.

I always get asked about my style. I've never been able to really describe it, It's way too diverse to be put in words. My style has weekly mood swings, is that normal?

Yesterday I was booked to shoot in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. I got there a bit early so decided to shoot my ootd in the meantime.

This super cute skirt is from Martin+Osa is the perfect piece to add to your wardrobe this fall. I love how different you can style it. These are the pieces I tend to spend the most money on. Pieces that I know I'll be wearing over and over year round.

I originally wanted to wear the sweater I wore on one of my first ootd post Knit Fever. Then changed my mind when I found this top I bought from ASOS. I love the colors together, feels like fall.

Lately I've been over wearing high socks do to the chilly weather here in NY, and I love it. Don't you?
I wore these chelsea Crew 'tuson' lace up boots which are super comfy and the tiny heel adds a bit of femininity to the outfit.

This bracelet is c/o HappyWrist by Itchelita.
Itchelita is a great jewelry maker who designs cute and very affordable pieces for your everyday styling.  I love informing my readers about cool sites like Itchelita's etsy shop HappyWrist.
She's offering 10% off to all my followers who enter TRENDYMOM when purchasing from her etsy shop.

We took advantage of the $1 oyster at Maison Premier & got shrimp cocktail on the house:)

Remember today's quote of the day "Confidence takes time to build"
I really hope you all have an amazing weekend.. Toodles!

Tie Dye & Boots

Every mother needs a heel-less day.

You guys know by now how much I love parks, so today I took my girls to Central Park for a picnic.. and a shoot:)

Sweater: 5/48
The small neon detail on this sweater drove me to buying it. I always wanted a 5/48 item since it launched in Saks. I really didn't know where I was going with this outfit until I had all the pieces on.
I went with these combat boots that a lot of you guys have been asking me about ever since I posted a picture on Insta. I got these at a store in the upper west side manhattan. They're no name but cute and comfy, so why not?

Watch: No Label Watches   Sunglasses: ShadesTrades.com (LV)

Hope you all have a great Tuesday.
I will be doing a recipe post soon, anything you would like to see?

Blogger Meet & Greet!

This past Saturday I hosted this much needed blogger meet and greet event with Naty Michele.
As a host you want everyone to be happy & everything to be perfect. & it was!
The event was held at the 230-fifth rooftop in nyc. Do to high winds we decided to stay inside for a while until the weather settled.
It was my first time here and definitely not my last.

What I wore
Guess by Marciano dress
HRH necklace
Tory Burch shoes

Naty and I got to the location quite early to make sure everything was perfect, and just in time to watch this beautiful sunset.

We had mydarlingavalovelyobsessions and highclassrebel sent us items to raffle.
The lovely Erica Santiago from poolovesboo sent over her delicious cake pops for all the bloggers.

My favorite part of the event was learning the stories behind each blogger, knowing why they chose their blog name and how far they've come in such short amount of time. I was happy to share my story with all these amazing ladies, altho I do wish I was a bit more talkative like Naty and Melissa lol.
I feel like this is all a learning process and this blogging world has many opportunities for everyone, as long as you believe in yourself and never give up.

Overall the event was a success! & if you missed this one don't worry I will be hosting another one in a near future. A big thank you to everyone who came and all the shops who sent us goodies.
Happy Monday Trenders!

Brown on Brown

The excitement of tonights meet and greet has not let me sleep for days. This is the first event i'll be hosting with the lovely Naty Michele. I can't wait to meet you all!

OK.. now for todays ootd.
Since the weather seems to be getting better and better I've been wearing a lot of fall appropriate items, like these pleather pants I got a few months ago at H&M for only $5!

Earrings: Tory Burch

I always wanted a collar necklace, instead I found this gorgeous blouse from Blu Pepper with collar details. The best part about long sleeves is that they can be folded to style differently. Isn't it cute?

Top: Blu Pepper
Shoes: Steve Madden

I've been searching for a vintage chanel bag for years. I finally found one in the most unexpected place, a vintage furniture store in Astoria, Queens. I usually shop there for vintage jewelry(they tend to have a very small selection) and had told the owner if he ever came across any chanel bags to call me, and he did. I couldn't hold my excitement so I posted an Instagram picture and you guys loved it. I know there are countless shops around NYC who carry many vintage chanel bags but they tend to be really pricy. I must say I hit the jackpot with this one.

My Tip
in finding unique vintage pieces is to let the owner or employee of the shop know what you're looking for. Leave a contact number for them to reach you in once they have what you want. When you least expect it you'll get a call. Also try to visit as many shops as possible since every store has different prices. My take in finding vintage shops is google:)

& my signature pose:) Have an awesome saturday trenders.

Entering Fall (kids)

Happy Friday Trenders!
"Surround yourself with only people who are going to lift you higher" Oprah Winfrey
My kids and family are those who put a smile on my face daily.  I am the luckiest person in the world to have such amazing friends and supporting followers.
Hope everyone enjoys their weekend and don't forget to be grateful for what you have and appreciate the little things that make you smile.
Top & Hat: Baby Gap

I felt like I hadn't featured my little monkeys on my blog lately and I know you all missed them:)
Today is a beautiful day so I decided to take them out for a walk and shoot. My kids aren't camera shy at all, once they see me pull out my dslr they start posing.

  Sandals: LANDS'END   Earrings: F21
This dress was given to Zareena by her aunty Sharmin and uncle Rairai. I thought the dress was cute but a bit plain so I decided to add a belt that I got at Marshalls. I loved the two different patterns together. It really makes the dress standout.

Dress: H&M   Belt: Marshalls
