There's no better way to bond with your girls than to go grab something to eat.
Schnippers is one of our favorite burger spots in the city so when we heard about their new eatery, Thunder Bun we couldn't wait to try the menu out.

Thunder Bun is located on 1 New York Plaza New York, NY 10004 (on the Concourse level). Opened from 11am-7pm Mon-Fri.

What to do on Valentines Day?

IMG_4941

Here comes the desperate time of year again; Valentines Day! The time when you don't know what to get that special person in your life. You don't want to be a cheapskate and you also don't want to break the bank. You simply can't get the question out of your head; What to do on Valentines Day?

Did you know that many people stay single to avoid these crazy times (believe me, I know a few). Keeping it 100% with ya'll.. I'm on the fence about the whole thing. Yes it's fun wearing red every year, receiving chocolates/ flowers and getting a 'Happy Valentines Day' from strangers. Yet, I believe you shouldn't need a specific day to celebrate love. You should celebrate it everyday.

Despite how I feel.. today I will be sharing some fun things that I personally experienced throughout the years and highly recommend doing for Valentines day. Hopefully it helps some of you make some V'day plans.

2017 Highlights / Family Roadtrip

IMG_4066

Last Summer I partnered up with Chevrolet to go on a family Coastal Road trip driving their 2017 Chevrolet Cruze Diesel. Our goal was to end up in Portland, Maine. We were clueless when it came to adding stops to our trip, restaurants to eat in, scenic areas to stop, hotels to stay, etc. While going through my phone I realized I had downloaded an app a few months back which would help with our dilemma. & just like that using the Roadtrippers app we found our fist stop, Walnut beach. I knew I wanted to visit the beach since my daughter, Hazel is a rock collector. So I thought, wouldn't it be fun to stop and find some souvenirs to bring back home?

Bathroom Renovation / Revealed

I'm super excited to finally share my bathroom renovation with all of you. As I promised, not only am I sharing photos but I'm also sharing direct links to where I purchased everything. I know a lot of you are thinking of revamping your space and hopefully this serves as inspiration.

When we first purchased our house the bathroom wasn't in terrible conditions although it was a little too pink for my taste and backdated. Our home was built in the early 1920's and was partially renovated in the 50's. I didn't hate it at all. Maybe if it was an apartment I was renting, I wouldn't have mind but since it's our first home in which we will be living in for many years to come, I think the change was necessary. As you can see below, the bathroom was in great shape. The previous owner even changed the vanity a few months before selling us the house.

My inspiration for this room was
