My friends and I decided to take a trip to Dorset, Vermont last weekend to go skiing, visit farmers markets and simply enjoy time with good friends. Today I'll be sharing photos from our quick getaway and a short video below:)
I'm one to enjoy the simple things in life. Like waking up to peace and quite for the first time in a really really long time. This was by far my favorite moment of 2016 (so far).
This is the farmers market where I bought fresh honey, fresh buffalo/beef meat, raw milk, the most amazing empanadas (I'm not even kidding!), sweet apple cider and delicious sweet treats for our friends back in NY.
I was looking forward to skiing since Winter started. We went to Bromley Mountain which was near where we were staying for the weekend. If you watch the video you are aware of what happened to my inexperienced self, yet, it was the most fun! Moe wasn't able to join Maria, Dani and I because of his injured shoulder but, he served as a great photographer.
One of my favorite things at Bromley Mountain was the stone fire pit by the hot chocolate stand. This was such a perfect place to warm up while chatting and enjoying warm drinks.
I always have to bring back something from everywhere I go as souvenirs. This time round, I picked up a slate to serve food to my guests.
Fresh eggs in the morning, anyone?
At the farmers market, I bought raw milk and drank it on the way back home. It was so fresh and delicious. I would go back to Vermont just for this.

This was all of us, Dani, Maria, Seth, Moe and I. Best weekend I've ever had... like ever!
