Adirondack Mountains | Glampinghub

I'm so excited to finally share this post with those of you searching for adventure this Spring/Summer.
Two weeks ago I visited Wilmington New York near Adirondack Mountains for the very first time curtesy of Glamping Hub. My family booked a stay at a beautiful rustic log chalet cabin facing the Whiteface Mountains. I was also able to share the weekend with my good friends Maria and Daniel. Our objective, to relax.

We arrived there late Friday night and made ourselves at home for the next three days. The next morning we all got up, made tea and stepped outside to listen to the river which was right behind the cabin. Man, what an amazing view and sound that was (watch my video here). It was beautiful to wake up to the sounds of birds chirping and a river running instead of sirens and cars honking. All my New Yorkers know what I'm talking about. This was pure bliss. Relaxation to the extreme. Even Leanne who's only 9 years old felt it. She started her morning by doing yoga in the back porch overlooking the river.

A few miles away from our cabin we found this cute little place called The Country Bear Bakery & Diner. They are only open Friday-Monday from 7am-2pm. This was hands down one of the best and freshest breakfasts I have ever had. Really delicious! & the staff was very nice and helpful. Would you believe me if I told you we wouldn't mind driving up five hours just to enjoy this again? That's how much we enjoyed those heavenly homemade biscuits.

After breakfast we took the rest of the day to explore the town and visit local markets. At one of the markets we picked up fresh ground meat that would later be made into our dinner, penne with meatballs. When it came down to cooking it was great having a fully equipped kitchen with handy items in the pantry.

The table was set and dinner was served.  A simple yet satisfying meal enjoyed around a stunning table surrounded by great people in a breathtaking location. That's how I wish every meal would be.

What's for dessert? S'mores of course.

This property is ideal for individuals who love the outdoors. The breathtaking views surrounding the location is what truly stole my heart. An all year round hidden gem where you can enjoy skiing, fishing, hiking, rock climbing, road biking, kayaking and so much more. & only 15 minutes away from the property you'll reach Lake Placid where you can enjoy fine-dining and shopping. What more can you ask for!?

So if you're planing an escape from the noisy city or if you're a busy mom who simply needs some down time, visit Adirondack Mountains in upstate New York and stay in this pet/family friendly cabin. You wont be disappointed.

p.s. Huge thanks to the owner, Johnathan for being so attentive prior and post our stay.
