Abu Dhabi + Bangladesh

I'm so happy to be back from my trip. What an amazing time my family and I had. The entire trip lasted 3 weeks. We visited Dubai, Abu dhabi and Bangladesh. This trip was intended for a family vacation and soon became a business trip. I will be talking mostly about Bangladesh since I spent most of my time there.  My camera stopped working the second week I was there, but I wasn't going to let this ruin my trip. A lot of the pictures were taken with my iPhone 5.

Today I will share only a few pictures from my trip. Enjoy.

-Abu Dhabi-

I flew through Etihad Airways- Amazing service. My girls and I enjoyed the 17 hour flight to Abu Dhabi.

Once we arrived in Bangladesh we realized we had came at the wrong time. The country was at war due to some political party rivalry. We spent days home because all the shops were closed and we weren't allowed out due to violent hortals (strikes).
I believe that everything happens for a reason, and this trip was an eye opener for me.
While everyone was hating the lock down, I decided I had to do something productive. As a Fashion Blogger, fashion drives me- no matter which part of the world I'm in. This led me to meeting a few people who made my dreams come true- But I'll leave that for another post :)

The first few days in Bangladesh we were able to go out. My plan was to experience the whole thing. I wore silwar kameez ( traditional bengali wear), ate tropical fruits and indulged on street vendor snacks, visited the furthest villages imaginable, shopped for gold and practiced my cracked bengali with strangers.

Wore these type of clothing the entire time I was in Bangladesh - Silwar kameez.

Thank you guys for allowing me to share this trip with you. More coming soon.
