Last night was the Grammys and I unfortunately wasn't able to watch it as I spent my Sunday visiting my mom and sister. Today I woke up to so many tweets congratulating the winners and I instantly got FOMO. The award seemed amazing! Did you guys watch it?
I'll have to watch the performances on YouTube later today.
Have you guys noticed that rolling around in sneakers is my new favorite thang! & can you blame me? Having to push a stroller and countless grocery bags around the city isn't easy. If you live in New York or have ever visited you know everyone is always in a rush. So yes, often times I 'sneaker it out' in order to arrive at events on time and right before arriving I switch into my high heels.
Don't tell me you've never done this!?
My choice in sneakers is always a comfortable neutral shade that can simply look great with absolutely anything. Like these Adidas Cloudfoam QT Racer sneakers. I bought them in white but they also come in ice purple. Not only is the comfort level on point but it also grips onto my foot and it feels as if I'm walking on clouds. Oh and before I forget.. the purple ones are 25% off right now.
This look took an unexpected turn after I tried it on for the second time around.
The initial plan was to style this sweatshirt and pants as a comfortable, sporty look. Then I thought, "that's quite boring and expected".. so I popped some buttons on my pants and slapped on heels to make a cool sporty chic look instead. I ended up liking it even more than the first look.
That goes to show, always have a plan B even if plan A is a good enough one.
