Fathers Day Outfit

Get a glimpse at my fathers day outfit.

Dress:Karen Miller   Earrings:Vintage

If you follow me on Instagram you might remember this dress I  thrifted a few months back. The dress has plenty of details that caused me to fall in love with it.
I've been really liking single sleeved dresses for this weather in NY.
I didn't want to wear nude or black heels since that's pretty boring for me. So I went ahead and paired this fab dress with hot pink heels. I apologize for not having more pictures but the sun went down pretty fast once we started shooting and these were the most decent pictures I got.

Shoes:Charlotte Russe

Watch:Michael Kors   Bracelete:N/a

Happy Fathers day to my incredible father Johnny.
To my other half also the funniest and craziest brother in the world!
&
to the most amazing father of my kids, my husband.

Rocky Road

Hello weekend,

I've never came across a one shoulder dress with such pretty patterns and details in colors. I always get compliments when I wear it out in public. The best part of it is the $30 price tag, I got it at Mandee. I think it's a fair price for a maxi dress now a days. It's super comfortable since it has silk lining inside the dress.
This dress came with a thin double sided belt which I didn't love the way it made me look. I wore a thicker belt to emphasize my waist.

Dress:Mandee

Belt:Club Monaco   Bracelet:Express

Earrings:F21

I love the way this last picture came out, It looks as If I edited it. You like?

A Visit To Central

Yesterday my husband took part in the JP Morgan Chase Corporate challenge
The run took place in Central Park, one of those places that make New York such a great place to live. The ginormous public park is in the center of Manhattan.
He had to complete a 4 mile run and we were there to cheer him on. Zareena and I spent the day snapping pictures of each other and contemplating the amazing view this city has to offer. We were there for a few hours and couldn't find a way out. Boy did the girls and I have fun!

Zareena wore a ruffle flower dress from DKNY to compliment the lavenders in the park. The weather was just right for this outfit. Her flowy hair and ruffle dress makes the perfect summery look for a toddler.

Dress:DKNY   Shoes:Marshalls

Bangles:Jackson Heights   Bag:Tory Burch

Necklace & Earrings:Local Store   Nails:Action by Essie   Top:Thrifted

Pants:H&M   Wedges:Michael Kors
These pants have such a long story behind them.
My husband bought these for himself 2 weeks ago and didn't try them on until yesterday only to find out that he got the wrong size. As a fashionista that I am, I decided to work with them. The fitting wasn't too big altho I had to wear a belt to hold them up. I rolled them up twice do to them being long or me being too short, haha.

I hope these tips help you wear your husbands pants too:)

I Got The Blues

Yesterday we went to a southern barbecue restaurant in Queens. & OEMGEE! I had a brisket sandwich with mac & cheese and my husband ordered burned ends with fries. It's self explanatory what burned ends are but if you don't know, it's the burned part of a beef brisket.
It was the first time I ever tried beef burned ends and they were amazing! So I suggest, if you ever visit a barbecue restaurant, ask for burned ends.
I'm so glad I did the shoot before going to eat because I ended up with barbecue sauce even on my hair.
OK enough food chatting here are the shots. Enjoy:)

Sunnies:Ray Ban

My vision was to wear this jumpsuit with a neon yellow necklace. Since I don't own one yet I decided to wear it with this bright red, I thought it turned out pretty good no?
This jumpsuit is unbelievably comfortable and the color is perfectly bold. I really like loose fitting clothes, specially for summer. I feel like I can't breath if I wear tight fitting clothes in warm weather.
I wanted to leave my hair loose but it was really hot. That lead me to pinning it towards the side and still leaving it loose.

Jumpsuit:Victoria Secret

Rebel In Pleather

If you follow me on Instagram you would know that these pictures were supposed to be uploaded on Tuesday, but all the pictures got deleted from my camera. Today I woke up early and decided to re-shoot this outfit post. I think they turned out better than before.

I've always complained about the weather in NY, but I'm starting to like the fact that I can wear something summery one day and a jacket or blazer the next. It gives me more versatility in my wardrobe.

This past weekend I stopped at H&M and came across these pleather brown pants which were a steal! I paid $5 for them, I don't know why they were so cheap, maybe because summer is approaching and they're trying to get rid of all the winter clothes. Anyhow, I had to buy them since I've always wanted a pair of leather pants and the price was unbelievable.

Shoes:Michael Kors   Clutch:Vintage

Notice anything different?
I dyed my tips yesterday. I was going for a hot pink instead I got a redish/purpleish color which isn't all that bad. I will wear this color out for about a week then try redoing it. Wish me luck:)

Watch:Invicta   Bracelet:N/a(from Spain)

Necklace:F21  Tank:Gap   Blazer:New York and Company   Lips:Morange from MAC

Pants:H&M

Do you like this color? or should I go for the hot pink that I wanted to begin with?
