Holiday Glam

I'm going to be doing a little bit of a metallic ombre smokey look today. This look is perfect for any holiday parties and festive celebrations. Most of the products used can be found at Ulta Beauty. Follow along to see how you can achieve this look too.

I'll be using a few colors from my current favorite eyeshadow palette, Urban Decay Naked Smokey palette .

I'm starting of with this beautiful champagne color eyeshadow primer potion called 'Minor Sin' from Urban Decay to hold my eyeshadow all day/night. I love this color because it enhances the shimmer of the shadows.

Then I apply 'Combust' from the Urban Decay Naked Smokey palette all over my lids as a base color.

I'm going to apply the first shimmery color, 'Vortex' from UD on the inner part of my lid (not the inner corner, we're saving that for later).

The second color that I will be applying to the center of my lid is called 'Zodiac' from UD.

The third color which I will be applying on my outer corner is called 'Scorpio' also from UD. I like to also drag the color down to my lower lash line.

I will then take the brush that came with the UD Naked Smokey Palette and apply 'Whiskey' while blending in any uneven lines at the crease.

To add a little bit of a Holiday feel, I like to add 'Cosmic' from UD to the inner corner of my eyes. You can also add a glitter liner like this one here.

Once done with arranging the eyeshadows, I move on to the liner. I like a medium sized line and to get a perfect line you need to work from the inner corner to the outer corner. Working in small strokes to achieve the right thickness. I'm using the 'Art Liner Precision Point' from Lancome as it's super easy to handle due to it's precise tip.

I like applying a gel liner to my water line for a more defined eye. I like using this formula rather then a pencil because it's more durable and does not run or smudge.

I then apply my bff's, false lashes. I'm using these 'Wispies Natural' lashes by Ardell.

Can't finish a look without highlighter. I'm using 'CandleLight' by Kevin Aucoin.

Apply mascara to the bottom eyelashes. I'm using 'Optical Illusion Lash Lengthening Mascara' by Circa Beauty.

Now for the lips; Red is Key! Major Key! I am currently loving 'Le Carmin' from Lancome.

Last but not least, apply this 'Long-Lasting' makeup setting spray for a flawless face the entire night.

I hope you all enjoyed this post/look. I had such a great time writing it.
Happy Holidays!
