Where to go this weekend -Lucky Strike
-This was not a sponsored post. I simply loved the experience and wanted to share it-
TGIF again! Today's post is perfect for those who are looking to have a little fun this weekend. I'm always searching for fun places to go in New York City with my friends and family. While searching for 'fun places in nyc ' in google, I came across Lucky Strike. Friday the 13th was my husband's birthday and we wanted to do something fun but at the same time a little intimate. We spoke to a clerk on the phone during the week and told her our plans. She suggested that we came early (7pm) to get that intimate feel before the place gets jammed packed since it was a Friday night. The trendy play room for grownups has countless activities like billiards, ping pong, bowling and much much more.

Basic Monday
It's finally Fall! The time to pull out those oversized sweaters and warm boots. I have gotten many emails requesting me to show you a little more toned down outfit posts for those busy days. I was thrilled about my readers wanting a laid back look aka a lazy outfit. I thought the tittle 'Basic Monday' would go perfect with this look because it's the first day after the weekend and most of us either go back to work or to school. Therefore this can serve as great inspiration to those looking for an easy, simple yet trendy look.

Little Red Riding Hood
As we step foot into Fall the need for layering becomes obvious. My girls love wearing dresses and I simply fell in love with the idea of this dress-like jacket from Lemon Loves Lime. The addition of colorful accessories and girly tights complete this simple outfit.

Monochromatic
Black and white is my all-time favorite trend. For this outfit I wanted to do something simple yet sophisticated. Great for brunch or for work (with the blazer of course). Theory is one of the trendiest brands out because it's made for the modern women. Staying comfy with loose fitted pants that still look trendy, hip and cool is what I'm all about. I think simple is always best. What do you think of this outfit?

Family Shoot with Pink PineApple Pictures
I have finally decided to reveal some of the pictures from a few weeks ago shot by Pink Pineapple Pictures. Believe it or not, my family and I have never had an official family photo shoot. After moving into our new home, I wanted to get a little more organized and have an actual family album rather than having all of my children's photos uploaded onto a computer and nothing in print. After reviewing many photographers portfolios I fell in love with two lovely girls, Judith and Melody creators of Pink Pineapple Pictures.

OOTD Video with PARQOR
Last week I teamed up with PARQOR during NYFW to bring you a more informative way of sharing outfits. We shot this video right before heading to the Nanette Lepore show last wednesday. I tried to give you as much information as possible, given the fact that it had to be no longer than 15 seconds. In the video I briefly describe my outfit and highlight the main points. Do you like it? Would you like to see more outfit videos?

In Red
Boy, am I glad the madness is over! You guys cannot imagine how my feet are looking right about now! Those blister bandages that Ebay gave out in the tents did come in handy. I have been nonstop walking in 4"+ inch heels more than 8 hours a day. Running from show to show, getting interviewed and filming outfit videos didn't really give me enough time to shoot in the daylight. I hope you can see the details from this handmade clutch curtesy of Indego Africa, an amazing organization that empowers independent businesswomen [read more here]. For day 3 of New York Fashion Week I wore this bright red suit and these Strawberry Split heels curtesy of Kandee Shoes.
I could not help taking a picture of this amazing city.
Happy birthday Mr. Right!
