NYFW

I would've never imagined that I would be in this place at this point in my life. It almost seems like a story pulled out of a fairy tale book. I've had different faces in my life but Fashion, Makeup and Food are the ones that seem to always stay in. Monday I attended a breakfast bloggers event thrown by Royal & Langnickel. An amazing brush company who are reinventing the brush world. Visit there website for more info.
At the event I got to meet other bloggers and make-up artists. We received a stunning trendy bag which came with a few goodies. Thank you so much the invitation.

After the Royal & Langnickel event I was invited to attend another amazing event at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion week. I took the chance to take pictures of random fashion-trenders and show everyone what New York Fashion Week is all about. Enjoy the pictures.

I still need to finish labeling the pictures, please be patient.

Cape away

I love days like these! 52 degrees in February. This definitely meant a walk for my girls and I. I truly didn't want to go back in after I stepped out of the house. I'm a Sagittarius meaning I'm a winter baby. My favorite season is winter but it's not a very good season for kids. I tend to not take them out as much as I wish. So days like these mothers need to take advantage off and enjoy them.

I've gotten so many request to do more outfit and makeup posts.
Here's an OOTD(outfit of the day) Enjoy!

Touchdown!!!

This past Sunday was the Superbowl. & the Giants won of course:) I had a small party for  my family and my husbands family.  I'm not into Football but I am into watching the commercials and the halftime show. I love having an excuse to get everyone together and enjoy my food.

Here are a few pictures of what was on the menu that night, since I was cooking I wasn't able to be the photographer. Thanks to Zack for the great pictures.

Chic Me Up

My style consists on being different. I don't have a specific way of dressing, It all depends on how I'm feeling that day. & yesterday I was feeling pretty awesome. I had 4 hours of sleep without interruptions, and it was the weekend so I was in a pretty good mood.
I rarely enjoy taking pictures as much as yesterday but the view made it impossible not to. This shoot was taken at a park by the river looking over Manhattan. An extremely tranquil place!
It was so difficult to choose the pictures I would be posting. Check them out and let me know what you think about the location on the comment box below. Enjoy:)

Family Day In

I haven't added as many posts as I would like this 2012. The reason being is because the weather in NY is just looney!! & I like to go out for shoots instead of indoor shoots. It was snowing two days ago, yesterday was raining and today is 52 degrees!!! I have no other choice but to post indoor pictures.

This past weekend my younger daughter Hazel who is 9 months old started taking steps by herself. She gets so excited when she takes 3-4 steps, she just starts clapping. She also started pointing to things she wants. She is growing so fast.

Also this past weekend I decided my husband and I needed a 'romantic' dinner without the girls. Things didn't turn out as planned. The babysitter decided to ditch us and my butcher didn't french my chops. You can imagine how I felt after being all day in the kitchen and finding out our plans were ruined.
I cooked Lamb chops, wedged baked potatoes and a roasted green pepper salad.

Here are a few pictures from that snowy day which we spent in doors. Enjoy!!

MLK Weekend!

This past weekend was beyond amazing! So many things happened, I don't even know where to begin.

Thursday my husband decided to cook for the first time. My daughter Zareena was right next to him guiding him:) The outcome was great!
Friday the 13th was my mother in law's birthday and I decided to make her a delicious Carrot Cake with Cheese Cake Frosting. It turned out better than expected.
Saturday the 14th was my Husband's cousin's Birthday.
I spent Sunday and Monday with his Family as well.
Pretty much my weekend was dedicated to my Husband's family!
I also added pictures of my outfit that night. I love the super bright walls, don't you? Let me know what you think on the comment box below:)

Here are a few pictures!!
Enjoy!!!
