Last sunday I had an urge for tacos and I found this local place in Queens called Tortilleria Nixtamal. When I was there it felt like I was in Mexico. The decor was very bright, mostly yellow and red. We wanted to visit this place for quite some time since they are known for having the best tortillas in Queens.

In Purple Boots

It's pretty impossible getting my kids to wear Fall/Winter clothes. All year round they want to wear dresses and sleeveless shirts. In the attempt to pleasing Leanne I let her wear a dress and added a few Autumn touches. A good pullover sweater and these Ugg Australia boots are perfect for Fall/Winter. One trend that I am loving lately is adding sweaters over dresses. What's your favorite Fall trend?

Sweet Tuna Salad

Today I'll be sharing my secrets on how to make your kids eat tuna salad. Believe me, they will love it and so will you. This recipe is kid friendly even though it has a little bit of red onions in it (which you can't really taste). It can be substituted for scallions if you think your kids won't like the raw onions.

Maccin' It In Williamsburg

The weekends (without kids) are those days that you just want to unwind and go out for some good o'l comfort food, listen to good music and chat with random strangers -FYI this is only if you're in Williamsburg. Well go figure, that was my -last Friday night. After roaming the streets of willy-b we ended up sitting at a 1920's inspired living room chatting with our new friend Alejandro (a LA based film producer). When the hunger hit we fled the scene and ended up at Brooklyn Mac. We visit Williamsburg pretty frequent and are often catching others saying the smart remark of it being an 'over rated place'. But the reality is it's not and are always blown away by the little hole-in-the-wall places we find. So without further ado, Here's another edition of "What to do this weekend". 

Shine On Me

My hair and makeup had a lot to do with Fall. There's something about high ponytails that always pop into my head when Autumn comes around. I like to reach for nude, orange or dark lipsticks during Fall. This Love Devotion lipstick by NARS is a keeper and a beauty essential for this season.

Hey guys and Happy October 1st! Today I have one of two pretty cool news to tell you. If you aren't familiar with Kids Fashion Week, it's pretty similar to New York Fashion Week but for kids. A few designers include Roberto Cavalli, Sonia Rykiel, Diesel and Lily Pulitzer. UGG Australia asked me to join in and walk their runway with my two daughters. Of course I said yes and I am honored to do so. This is such an amazing opportunity and I cannot wait to share more details with you all. It is now official, I will be part of this years Petite Parade Kids Fashion Week with UGG Australia and VOGUE bambini. What's even cooler other than walking down the runway with my daughters is that we will be in the VOGUE Bambini Pitti Bimbo Issue in a special editorial section. The show will be this Saturday so make sure to follow me on all my social media accounts to get sneak peeks:)
