What To Do and Where To Go This Halloween

My god! October flew and Halloween is around the corner. I still haven't decided what I will be wearing nor what my kids will be dressed as. If you guys have any suggestions on what I or my girls should be this halloween please tweet me @nytrendymoms. Despite not having anything to wear, I do have many places to go with my children and friends. Below you will find a list of kid friendly events, haunted houses and trendy places for adults. Who knows, you might find me in one of these:)



For kids:
If you are looking for a party to take your little ones to this Halloween, Gym-Amazing is having a fun Halloween Party this Thursday, October 31st. Each child is $20 and siblings are $15. The party includes face painting, halloween crafts, dancing, twisty animal balloons and a halloween goodie bag. A Haunting We Will Go in Main Street and Gravett Road Queens, NY. This wonderous playground will be filled with games, contests and crafts for kids of all ages. The fun will begin Thursday, October 31st 3:30-5:30pm at the Cedar Grove playground. Free admission. 

Halloween 313  will be having their yearly halloween show this Thursday, October 31st from 5:30-9:30pm. The shows run every 30 minutes and are held outdoors (313 Clinton Ave between Lafayette and Dekalb avenue). This year's edition is called 20,000 Screams Under the Sea. Arrive early to get a good spot.

If you missed the Halloween Terrerium class held by Luludi Living Frames last Sunday, don't worry. LLF offers weekend classes for kids and adults for $40 each. This includes all materials and gift box + it's a lot of fun for adults and children over 5. They are located on 23-07 24th ave, Astoria NY. Call Liza to reserve your spot 1888-9-luludi.

For adults:
Blackout Haunted house a yearly sold out event located on 164 11th avenue between 23rd and 24th street. This haunted house runs from now till November 10th. This is by far the scariest event you will ever experience during Halloween. You must be 18 years or older ($65 ea.)

The well talked about Blood Manor located on 163 Varick street NY, is a thrilling haunted house which guarantees a change of pants. It ends November 2nd and don't forget to bring an adult if you're younger than 14 years old ($35 ea.) 

On Halloween night at 7pm, Katch Brewery & Grill (31-19 Newtown Ave, Astoria NY) will be having party filled with fun contests and giveaways. Best costume wins. Also enjoy a variety of drink specials starting at $4. And while there make sure to try their Katch Pumpkin Brew ($4).  For more information call 718-777-2230.

Haven Rooftop (132 west 47th st New York, NY) will be having their annual haunted haven soiree with Dj St. Tropez on October 31st. Be sure to dress to impress because they will be giving away prices worth over $500 to the best costume of the night. Only $20 open bar and complimentary hors d'oeuvres from 6-7pm.
